(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시가 28일, 국내외 투자기업의 신규 고용 확대를 장려하기 위해, 상시 고용인원 1명당 최대 600만 원까지 고용보조금을 지원한다고 밝혔다.
인천시에 따르면, 이번 고용보조금은 인천으로 이전하거나 신규 투자한 기업이 인천시가 정하는 기준 인원을 초과해 고용을 늘릴 경우, 초과 인원에 대해 지급된다.
지원 금액은 1인당 최대 100만 원씩 6개월간 제공되며, 지난해 50만 원에서 두 배로 상향 조정된 금액이며 총 예산은 1억 2,000만 원이다.
지원 대상은 크게 두 가지로 나뉜다.
첫째, 국내기업은 인천 외 지역에서 본사, 공장, 연구소, 연수원 등을 인천으로 이전한 기업으로, 법인 이전 등기일, 사업 등록일, 공장 등록일이 신청일 기준 2년 이내여야 한다.
또, 인천시민 신규 채용 인원이 20명 이상 초과돼야 한다.
둘째, 외국인 투자기업은 인천에 소재하며, 투자 등록 후 5년 이내인 기업에 해당한다.

단, 중앙정부 등 다른 기관에서 동일 항목으로 고용보조금을 받았다면 중복 지원은 불가능하다.
또, 보조금을 받은 기업은 2027년까지 상시 고용 인원을 유지해야 하며, 외국인 투자기업은 투자 비율도 30% 이상(외국인 투자기업에 한함)을 유지해야 한다.
