(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부천시가 28일, 외국인주민의 지역사회 정착을 지원하기 위해 부천시외국인주민지원센터와 부천시다문화가족지원센터를 소개하는 다국어 홍보 안내문을 제작해 시청·구청·동 행정복지센터를 찾는 외국인주민에게 배부한다고 밝혔다.
부천시에 따르면, 이번 안내문은 외국인주민과 다문화가족이 시의 다양한 외국인주민 지원을 효과적으로 받을 수 있도록 기관별 주요 사업, 지원 대상, 문의처, 위치 등 핵심 정보를 중심으로 제작했다.
특히 시 행정지원과 국제교류팀의 협조를 받아 한국어, 영어, 중국어, 베트남어 등 4개 국어로 제작해 외국인주민의 이해도를 높이고 실용성을 강화했다.
홍보안내문은 시·구청 민원실과 외국인 유입이 많은 동 행정복지센터 등을 통해 외국인주민에게 배부할 예정이다.
부천시는 이를 통해 외국인주민이 필요한 서비스를 더욱 쉽게 안내받고, 행정 접근성을 높일 수 있을 것으로 보고 있다.
부천시외국인주민지원센터는 한국어 교실, 노동·법률·의료·생활 상담, 통역지원, 무료진료소 운영, 외국인공동체 활동 지원 등 다양한 서비스를 제공해 외국인주민의 지역사회 정착을 돕고 있다.
아울러, 부천시다문화가족지원센터는 다문화가족의 조기 정착과 자립을 돕기 위해 교류·소통 공간 운영, 특성화 사업, 자녀 지원, 온가족보듬사업, 결혼이민자 직업훈련, 한국어 교육 등을 추진하고 있다.
