한국조폐공사, 이탈리아 조폐국에 210억 원 면펄프 수출

한국조폐공사(사장 성창훈)는 28일 이탈리아 조폐국(IPZS·Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato)과 210억 원 규모의 면펄프 공급계약을 체결했다고 밝혔다. 이번 계약은 조폐공사가 해외 수출을 위해 설립한 우즈베키스탄 면펄프 생산 자회사(GKD) 운영 이래 단일 계약으로는 최대 수출 실적이다.

이번 대규모 계약을 기반으로 조폐공사는 올해 면펄프 수출액을 400억 원, 전체 수출사업은 530억 원 규모로 성장할 것으로 내다봤다. 이는 2024년 국내 화폐 제조사업(918억 원)의 절반을 넘는 수준이며, 전년 공사 전체 매출 대비 10%를 넘어서는 수치다.
