【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=환경부와 국립공원공단이 주최하고 경상북도 환경보건센터가 공동 주관한 ‘2025 건강나누리캠프’가 지난 7월 19일과 26일, 경북 영주시 소백산 생태탐방원에서 성황리에 마무리됐다.

‘건강나누리캠프’는 아토피피부염, 알레르기 비염, 천식 등 환경성질환을 앓고 있는 어린이와 가족을 대상으로 구성된 체험형 교육 프로그램으로, 특히 취약계층 가정을 우선 대상으로 진행돼 참가자들의 높은 호응을 얻었다.
이번 캠프는 환경성질환에 대한 인식을 높이고 건강한 생활습관 형성을 돕기 위해 마련됐다. 경북환경보건센터는 부모와 자녀를 대상으로 각각 맞춤형 교육 프로그램을 운영하며 실질적인 도움이 되는 정보를 전달했다.
부모 대상 강의에서는 이관 경상북도 환경보건센터장이 ‘환경성질환 제대로 알기’를 주제로 전문적인 정보를 제공했으며, 김병련 강사(경상북도 감염병관리지원단)는 여름철 증가하는 야외활동과 관련한 ‘진드기 질환 바로알기’ 교육을 통해 실생활에서 유용한 건강관리법을 전했다.
자녀 대상 프로그램은 환경보건센터가 자체 개발한 ‘온열질환 팝업북’을 활용한 체험활동으로 구성됐다. 어린이들은 팝업북을 통해 온열질환 예방 정보를 익히고, 에코백에 자신만의 환경보호 다짐을 그림으로 표현하며 환경의 소중함을 되새겼다.
이관 센터장은 “이번 캠프는 환경보건 취약계층의 목소리를 듣고 소통하는 소중한 기회였다”며 “앞으로도 다양한 맞춤형 프로그램을 통해 환경보건 교육을 지속 확대해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
한편, 경북 환경보건센터는 지난 3월 개소 이후 ‘찾아가는 환경보건교실’, ‘환경보건 이동학교’ 등을 통해 도내 미취학 아동 및 초등학생 등 민감계층을 대상으로 환경보건 교육을 활발히 진행하고 있다.

The children's program consisted of hands-on activities using the Center's self-developed "Heat-related Illness Pop-up Book." Children learned about heat-related illness prevention through the pop-up book and reflected on the importance of the environment by drawing their own environmental protection pledges on eco-bags.
Director Lee Gwan stated, "This camp was a valuable opportunity to listen to and communicate with vulnerable groups regarding environmental health issues. We will continue to expand environmental health education through various customized programs."
Since its opening in March, the Gyeongsangbuk-do Environmental Health Center has been actively providing environmental health education to vulnerable groups, including preschoolers and elementary school students, through programs such as the "Visiting Environmental Health Class" and the "Environmental Health Mobile School."
