대전동부교육지원청, 여름방학 치료지원 프로그램 운영

대전동부교육지원청 특수교육지원센터는 여름방학을 맞아 7월 29일부터 8월 13일까지 치료지원 대상 학생 15명을 대상으로 ‘2025학년도 여름방학 치료지원 프로그램’을 운영한다고 밝혔다. 

이번 프로그램은 방학 기간 동안 학생들에게 일상 속 감각 자극과 정서적 안정, 사회성 향상 기회를 제공하기 위한 취지로 기획됐다.

치료지원실은 평소 학기 중에는 학생의 장애 특성과 개별 요구를 반영한 1:1 맞춤형 치료를 실시하고 있다. 방학에는 학습 부담에서 벗어나 또래 친구들과 함께할 수 있는 소그룹 중심 체험활동으로 구성해, 놀이와 경험을 통한 발달 지원에 초점을 맞추고 있다.

올해 여름방학 프로그램은 공예, 요리, 현장 체험 세 가지 테마로 구성됐다. 먼저 공예 활동에서는 전문 공방 강사의 지도로 ‘힙팟(Hip-Pot)’ 만들기가 진행된다. 학생들은 친환경 화분에 다육식물을 심고 자신만의 디자인으로 꾸미는 활동을 통해 소근육 조절 능력과 창의력을 기르게 된다.

요리 활동은 대전 지역 베이킹스튜디오에서 ‘휘낭시에 만들기’ 체험으로 마련됐다. 계량, 혼합, 굽기 등 다양한 과정 속에서 감각 통합과 자립적 생활기술 습득을 돕는 데 초점이 맞춰져 있다.

이어지는 3주차 현장 체험은 대전 동구 직동에 위치한 찬샘마을에서 열린다. 이 체험은 도심을 벗어나 자연 속에서 포도 수확, 트랙터 마차 체험, 동물 먹이 주기, 인절미 만들기와 빙수 먹기 등의 활동으로 구성됐다. 학생들은 다양한 오감 자극 활동을 통해 생태적 감수성과 사회적 상호작용 능력을 키울 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

한 학부모는 “평소 쉽게 접하기 어려운 다양한 활동에 아이가 또래 친구들과 함께 참여할 수 있어 감사하다”며 “이번 경험이 아이의 정서 성장에 긍정적인 계기가 되기를 바란다”고 소감을 전했다.

The cooking activity was organized as a ‘making in Hwinangsi’ experience at a baking studio in Daejeon. It focuses on helping students acquire sensory integration and independent living skills through various processes such as measuring, mixing, and baking.

The following third week of field experience will be held at Chansaem Village in Jikdong, Dong-gu, Daejeon. This experience consists of activities such as grape harvesting, tractor carriage experience, animal feeding, making injeolmi, and eating shaved ice outside of the city. It is expected that students will be able to develop ecological sensitivity and social interaction skills through various sensory stimulation activities.

One parent said, “I am grateful that my child can participate in various activities with peers that are usually difficult to access,” and “I hope that this experience will be a positive opportunity for my child’s emotional growth.”
