【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구시교육청(교육감 강은희)이 6일 오전 10시 공식 홈페이지를 통해 2026학년도 공립학교 교사 임용후보자 선정을 위한 경쟁시험 사전예고를 발표했다.
전국 17개 시·도가 동시 진행하는 이번 임용시험에서 대구지역은 총 203명의 신규교사를 선발할 예정이라고 밝혔다. 세부 선발인원은 유치원교사 11명, 초등교사 78명, 중등교사 102명, 특수교사 12명(초등 10명, 중등 2명)으로 구성된다.
올해 선발계획의 가장 눈에 띄는 변화는 초등교사와 중등교사 모집인원의 상당한 증가다. 2025학년도와 비교해 초등교사는 5명, 중등교사는 44명이 늘어났다. 반면 유치원교사와 특수교사는 각각 1명씩 소폭 감소했다. 이로써 전체 선발규모는 작년 대비 47명 증가한 규모가 되었다.
교사 임용시험은 학교급별로 다른 일정에 따라 진행된다.
유치원·초등·특수(초등) 교사의 경우, 9월 10일 시행계획 공고를 시작으로 9월 22일부터 26일까지 5일간 온라인으로 원서접수를 받는다. 1차 시험은 11월 8일 실시될 예정이다.
중등·특수(중등) 교사 선발을 위한 시행계획은 10월 1일 공고되며, 원서접수는 10월 13일부터 17일까지 진행된다. 해당 분야 1차 시험일은 11월 22일로 예정되어 있다.
주목할 만한 변화 중 하나는 한국사능력검정시험 성적 인정 기준의 완화다. 2024학년도부터 성적 유효기간 제한이 폐지됨에 따라, 2025년 10월 18일 시행 예정인 제76회 한국사능력검정시험까지 3급 이상을 취득한 모든 성적이 2026학년도 교사 임용시험에서 유효하게 인정된다.
이번 선발계획은 대구지역 교육현장의 인력 수요 증가를 반영한 것으로 해석되며, 예비교사들에게는 더 많은 기회를 제공할 것으로 기대된다.
