【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=행복북구문화재단 서변숲도서관이 문화체육관광부가 주최하고 한국문화예술위원회가 주관하는 '2025년 길 위의 인문학' 공모사업에 선정됐다고 8일 밝혔다.
'대구의 물길, 성곽길 따라 대구 깊이 알기'를 주제로 오는 23일부터 11월 15일까지 총 11회에 걸쳐 진행된다.
이번 프로그램은 강연 8회와 탐방 2회, 후속 모임 1회로 구성됐다.
강연은 태고부터 독립운동기, 구석기시대부터 임진왜란, 신석기시대부터 왕건, 청동기시대부터 조선, 국채보상운동의 대구, 현대문학 태동기의 대구, 역동의 현대 대구 등 시대순으로 진행된다. 전통사회에서 강과 성을 따라 형성된 길에 담긴 역사와 문화를 조명하는 내용이다.
강연 강사로는 '대구 독립운동유적 120곳 답사 여행'의 저자인 정만진 소설가와 '한 손에 들어오는 대구 역사' 공동저자인 김규원 시인이 나선다. 김규원 시인은 경북대 명예교수이기도 하다.
9월과 11월에는 강연 내용과 연계한 현장 탐방도 마련됐다. 봉무정과 신숭겸 유적, 최제우 순도지, 육사 기념관 등 강연에서 다룬 역사 현장을 직접 찾아가는 시간을 갖는다.
도서관 관계자는 "이번 프로그램이 지역의 역사와 문화를 깊이 이해하는 계기가 되길 바란다"며 "시민들이 인문학적 소양과 애향심을 기르는 시간이 되기를 기대한다"고 말했다.

The Happy Bukgu Cultural Foundation's Seobyeon Forest Library announced on the 8th that it had been selected for the "2025 Humanities on the Road" contest, hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and organized by the Arts Council Korea.
Under the theme of "Understanding Daegu Deeply Along Daegu's Waterways and Fortress Paths," the program will run for a total of 11 sessions from the 23rd to November 15th.
The program consists of eight lectures, two field trips, and one follow-up meeting.
The lectures will proceed chronologically, covering the period from prehistoric times to the independence movement, the Paleolithic Age to the Imjin War, the Neolithic Age to Wang Geon, the Bronze Age to the Joseon Dynasty, the Daegu of the National Debt Redemption Movement, the Daegu of the dawn of modern literature, and the dynamic modern Daegu. The lectures will illuminate the history and culture embedded in the roads formed along the rivers and fortress walls of traditional society.
The lecturers will be novelist Jeong Man-jin, author of "A Field Trip to 120 Sites of the Daegu Independence Movement," and poet Kim Gyu-won, co-author of "Daegu History in One Hand." Kim is also a professor emeritus at Kyungpook National University.
In September and November, field trips will be organized in conjunction with the lectures. Participants will visit historical sites discussed in the lectures, including Bongmujeong Pavilion, the Shin Sung-gyeom Historic Site, the Choi Je-u Shrine, and the Korea Military Academy Memorial Hall.
A library representative stated, "We hope this program will provide an opportunity to deepen our understanding of local history and culture. We also hope it will foster a sense of humanities and patriotism among citizens."
