Yangju City, Gyeonggi Province's Culture and Tourism Department Pledges Trustworthy Administration with "Integrity Plaques"
Through the "Integrity Plaques," the department aims to foster an atmosphere where employees naturally practice the value of integrity in their daily lives.
[Break News Yangju=Kim Wan-young] The Culture and Tourism Department of Yangju City Hall (Mayor Kang Soo-hyun) in Gyeonggi Province recently displayed its commitment to integrity by placing "Integrity Plaques" throughout the department to foster a culture of integrity in public service.
These plaques, a small but meaningful gesture, remind employees of their commitment to integrity during work and embody their commitment to practicing public administration that earns citizens' trust.
These plaques are placed next to computer monitors, providing easy access, allowing employees to naturally incorporate integrity into their daily routines.
This initiative is expected to encourage public officials to self-reflect on their integrity awareness and maintain a transparent and fair approach when responding to public complaints.
The Culture and Tourism Division (Director Hong Mi-young) in particular, considering its direct contact with citizens through tourism resource development, local festival operations, and cultural heritage management, implemented this plaque installation initiative to reflect the value of integrity across all public services.
Director Hong Mi-young stated, "Through the plaques, we will foster an atmosphere where employees naturally practice the value of integrity in their daily lives." She added, "We hope to continue implementing department-level integrity policies to spread a culture of integrity throughout the organization."
