【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 북구청 볼링팀이 제40회 대통령기 전국볼링대회 남자일반부에서 금메달 2개와 은메달 1개를 획득하며 종합 준우승을 차지했다.
지난 3일부터 9일까지 경북 구미시 힐탑볼링경기장에서 열린 이번 대회는 전국체전을 앞두고 각 팀의 전력을 가늠하는 무대였다.
북구청 선수단은 안정적인 경기 운영과 집중력, 높은 개인 기량을 모두 입증하며 전국 상위권의 위상을 굳혔다.
3인조 경기에서 강명진·오병준·박경록 선수는 평균 235점을 기록하며 금메달을 목에 걸었다.
왼손 투구를 구사하는 선수들의 활약이 두드러졌고, 박경록 선수는 개인전(평균 247.5점) 금메달과 개인종합(평균 239점) 은메달까지 차지하며 다관왕에 올랐다.
이태주 감독은 “올 상반기부터 이어진 대회에서 좋은 성적을 거두고 있어 매우 만족스럽다”며 “10월 전국체전에서도 반드시 좋은 결과를 내겠다”고 밝혔다
