안양시청소년재단, 굿윌스토어에 500만 원 상당 물품 기부

안양시청소년재단(이사장 최대호)이 지난 8월 18일 굿윌스토어 안양점에 500만 원 상당의 기부 물품 397점을 전달했다.

굿윌스토어는 재사용 가능한 중고 물품을 기부받아 판매 수익금으로 장애인들에게 일자리를 제공하는 사회적 기업이다. 안양시청소년재단은 지난 2022년 굿윌스토어 안양점과 업무협약을 체결한 이후 매년 물품 구매 및 기부를 이어오며 자원 순환과 사회적 약자 지원에 적극 동참하고 있다.

이번 기부는 안양시청소년재단이 사회공헌활동의 일환으로 마련한 ‘착한 나눔, 착한 소비’ 나눔 주간(11일~14일)동안 이뤄졌다. 나눔 주간에는 임직원들이 직접 중고 의류·잡화, 가전제품, 서적 등을 기부하거나 굿윌스토어 매장을 방문해 중고 물품을 구입하는 방식으로 참여했다.

한편, 안양시청소년재단은 올해부터 특화형 사회공헌사업 ‘드림투게더’를 추진 중이다. 매월 둘째 주를 ‘드림투게더 위크’로 지정해 순환자원(무색 PET) 수집, 전통시장 가는 날 운영 등 지역 사회 책임을 실천하는 다양한 활동을 펼치고 있다.

The Anyang Youth Foundation (Chairman Choi Dae-ho) announced on August 20th that it donated 397 items worth 5 million won to the Goodwill Store Anyang branch on August 18th.

This donation took place during the "Good Sharing, Good Consumption" Sharing Week (August 11th-14th), part of the foundation's social contribution activities. During this week, employees participated by donating used clothing, miscellaneous goods, home appliances, and books or by visiting Goodwill Stores to purchase used items.

Goodwill Store is a social enterprise that accepts donations of reusable used items and uses the proceeds to provide jobs to people with disabilities. Since signing a business agreement with the Anyang Goodwill Store Anyang Branch in 2022, the Anyang Youth Foundation has actively participated in resource recycling and supporting the socially vulnerable through annual purchases and donations.

Meanwhile, the Anyang Youth Foundation has been promoting a specialized social contribution project, "Dream Together," since this year.
