경기도의회 도시환경위원회 유영일 부위원장(국민의힘, 안양5)이 지난 8월 19일 경기도의회 안양상담소에서 안양시와 경기주택도시공사(GH) 관계자들로부터 안양 연현공원 조성사업 관련 업무보고를 받았다.
이날 보고에서는 △대법원 최종 승소 후 기각된 사안, △지장물 감정평가를 포함한 잔여 보상 절차, △원주민 이주 및 지장물 철거, △공사 재개를 위한 향후 일정 등이 주요하게 논의됐다.
유영일 부위원장은 “사업 재개 과정에서 주민 불편과 혼란이 최소화될 수 있도록 현실적인 대책 마련이 필요하다”며, “보상과 공사 일정 추진 과정에서도 세심한 배려가 뒤따라야 한다”고 강조했다.
이어 “안양시는 사업 진행 상황을 주민과 투명하게 공유하고, GH는 시행자로서의 책임을 다해야 한다”고 당부했다.
연현공원은 훼손지 복구사업의 일환으로, 안양시 만안구 석수동 옛 제일산업개발 아스콘 공장 부지(약 3만7,546㎡)에 녹지복원형 공원으로 과천과천 공공주택지구 관련해서 형성된 재원으로 조성될 계획이다.
유영일 부위원장은 “연현공원은 오랜 기간 지역주민의 숙원사업이었던 만큼, 주민 삶의 질을 높이고 안양의 새로운 녹지 공간으로 자리 잡을 수 있도록 원활한 사업 추진을 끝까지 지원하겠다”고 말했다.

Yoo Young-il (People Power Party, Anyang 5), Vice Chairman of the Gyeonggi Provincial Council's Urban Environment Committee, received a report on the Anyang Yeonhyeon Park development project from officials from Anyang City and the Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) at the council's Anyang Counseling Center on August 19th.
The report highlighted the following key topics: the cases dismissed after the Supreme Court's final victory; the remaining compensation procedures, including the appraisal of obstructions; the relocation of residents and the removal of obstructions; and the future schedule for resuming construction.
