인천시에 따르면, 이 사업은 ‘아이플러스 (i+) 길러드림’의 ‘틈새돌봄’에 포함된 핵심 과제로, 기존 교육부 시간제 보육 제도의 운영 시간과 대상 연령을 대폭 확장한 인천형 보육 정책이다.
