[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 국내 최대 규모의 코미디 축제이자 대한민국 대표 코미디 공연의 장, '제13회 부산국제코미디페스티벌(BICF)'이 오는 29일, 벡스코 오디토리움에서 화려한 막을 올린다.
전 세계의 코미디언들이 함께하는 이번 페스티벌은 오는 9월 7일까지 열흘간 부산 전역에서 웃음 가득한 무대를 선사한다.
29일 개막식… 박명수의 사회와 함께 국내외 코미디 예술인 총출동
올해 부코페의 개막식은 8월 29일(목) 오후 7시, 벡스코 오디토리움에서 열린다. 사회는 명실상부한 입담 장인 코미디언 박명수가 맡아 분위기를 달굴 예정이며, 박형준 부산시장, 김준호 집행위원장, 시민 등 3,000여 명이 참석할 것으로 기대된다.
개막 무대는 ▲ LED 퍼포먼스팀 ‘생동감 크루’의 화려한 오프닝을 시작으로, ▲‘코미디 유튜브 대상’ 수상자 이명화(랄랄)의 감각적인 무대, ▲미국 퍼포먼스 팀 벙크 퍼펫(Bunk Puppet)의 이색 해외 공연, ▲대한민국 대표 코미디 프로그램 ‘개그콘서트’ 출연진의 특별 공연까지, 코미디의 정수를 보여준다.
부산 곳곳을 무대로 펼쳐지는 웃음 퍼레이드
올해 부코페는 벡스코 오디토리움, 해운대 구남로 등 부산 전역에서 다양한 공연과 프로그램으로 관객과 만난다. 특별히 준비된 공연 라인업은 코미디 팬이라면 놓칠 수 없는 이름들로 가득하다.

코미디계 거장들과 함께하는 ‘코미디북콘서트’ 신설
올해 새롭게 선보이는 프로그램인 ‘코미디북콘서트’는 동서대학교 디자인 아이디어랩에서 열린다.
▲전유성, 이홍렬 등 책을 집필한 코미디언들이 직접 관객과 만나 유쾌한 대화를 나누고, ▲사인회와 함께 특별한 팬미팅의 기회도 마련된다. 코미디와 문학의 접점을 체험할 수 있는 이색 콘텐츠로 관심이 집중된다.

거리도 무대가 된다! ‘코미디 스트리트’ & ‘오픈콘서트’
코미디는 극장을 벗어나 거리로도 향한다. 누구나 자유롭게 즐길 수 있는 무료 부대행사도 다채롭게 펼쳐진다. ▲ ‘코미디 스트리트’는 9월 4일부터 7일까지 해운대 구남로에서 열리는 야외 코미디 퍼포먼스로, 인디 공연팀들이 선보이는 코믹한 거리예술이 눈길을 끈다. ▲ ‘코미디 오픈콘서트'는 관객을 찾아가는 배달 공연으로, 9월 2일 중구 유라리광장, 9월 3일 53사단에서 진행된다.
9월 6일 부산진구 백양문화예술회관에서 시민들과 직접 만난다.
특히, 지난 7월 11일에는 ‘코미디 스쿨어택’이라는 이름으로 명호중학교에서 깜짝 게릴라 공연을 선보이며 뜨거운 반응을 얻은 바 있다.
9.7. 폐막식, ‘나는개가수다’ 무대로 대단원
폐막식은 9월 7일(토) 오후 6시, 부산문화회관 대극장에서 진행된다. 마지막을 장식할 축하공연은 이름부터 특별한 ‘나는개가수다’. 개가수는 개그맨과 가수의 합성어이다.
▲ 개그와 가창력을 모두 겸비한 ‘개가수’들의 하이브리드 무대가 펼쳐져 관객들에게 특별한 선물을 선사할 예정이다. ▲축제 기간 동안 활약한 작품에 대한 시상도 함께 진행되며, 열흘간의 코미디 대장정의 막을 내린다.

Opening Ceremony on the 29th… An All-Star Lineup Led by Park Myung-soo
The opening ceremony of this year’s BICF will take place at 7:00 PM on August 29 (Thursday) at BEXCO Auditorium. The master of comedic eloquence, comedian Park Myung-soo, will host and elevate the atmosphere. Approximately 3,000 people, including Busan Mayor Park Heong-joon, Executive Chairman Kim Jun-ho, and local citizens, are expected to attend.
The opening stage will showcase the essence of comedy starting with a dazzling LED performance by Saengdonggam Crew, followed by ▲a sensory stage by Lee Myunghwa (Lalal), winner of the Comedy YouTube Award, ▲a unique international performance by the U.S. team Bunk Puppet, and ▲ a special stage by cast members of Korea’s flagship comedy program “Gag Concert.”
A Parade of Laughter Across Busan's Venues
This year’s BICF will bring diverse performances and programs to stages across Busan, including BEXCO Auditorium and Haeundae’s Gunam-ro.
Special acts guaranteed to excite comedy fans include:

‘Comedy Book Concert’ Debuts with Legendary Comedians
A new addition this year is the ‘Comedy Book Concert’ at Dongseo University’s Design Idea Lab.
▲ Comedians and authors such as Jeon Yu-seong and Lee Hong-ryul will meet audiences for cheerful conversations, along with a book signing — blending comedy and literature in a unique and engaging format.
Meanwhile, on the Street: ‘Comedy Street’ & ‘Open Concerts’
Comedy leaves the stage for the streets with a variety of free side events for all to enjoy. ▲Comedy Street unfolds along Haeundae Gunam-ro from September 4 to 7, featuring indie comedy street performances.▲Comedy Open Concert brings performances directly to attendees at specific locations: ▲September 2 at Yurariplaza in Jung-gu ▲September 3 at the 53rd Infantry Division ▲September 6 at Baekyang Cultural & Art Center in Busanjin-gu
As a pre-festival warm-up, “Comedy School Attack” brought a surprise guerrilla performance to Myeongho Middle School on July 11, delivering enthusiastic reactions from students.
September 7: Grand Finale with ‘I’m a Gag Singer’
The closing ceremony will be held at 6:00 PM on September 7 (Saturday) at the Busan Cultural Center Grand Theater. The highlight: the performance ‘I’m a Gag Singer’ — a portmanteau of “comedian” and “singer.” ▲This hybrid performance by “gag singers” combines comedy and vocal talent to deliver a memorable experience.▲Festival-bestowed awards for outstanding works will also be presented, concluding the ten-day comedic journey on a high note.
