군포문화재단이 세종국악관현악단과 함께 오는 9월 4일(목) 오전 11시, 군포문화예술회관 수리홀에서 K-청소년음악극 ‘오백 년째 열다섯’을 공연한다.

이번 공연은 경기문화재단이 후원하는 ‘2025 공연장상주단체 지원사업’의 일환으로 시행된다. ‘오백 년째 열다섯’은 청소년 베스트셀러 작가 김혜정의 동명 소설을 원작으로, 판소리와 현대 뮤지컬, 영상미를 결합한 새로운 형식의 국악뮤지컬이다.
극은 인간이 되고 싶어 500년째 열다섯 살에 머문 여우 소녀 ‘가을’의 혼란과 성장을 중심으로 전개된다. 인간과 여우, 과거와 현재, 사명과 선택이 교차하는 과정에서 ‘스스로 삶을 선택하는 주체적 의미’를 담아낸다. 공연은 전통의 울림과 현대적 무대 기법이 어우러진 새로운 장르 ‘K-뮤지컬’로 기획돼 청소년 관객뿐 아니라 전 세대가 공감할 수 있는 무대가 될 것으로 기대된다.
무대에는 소리꾼 서진실·정초롱·윤하정, 뮤지컬 배우 원종수·김보연, 배우 지승민 등이 출연하며, 세종국악관현악단이 연주를 맡아 국악과 현대 음악의 조화를 선사한다.

The Gunpo Cultural Foundation, in collaboration with the Sejong Traditional Korean Music Orchestra, will present the K-Youth Musical "Fifteen Years Later" at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 4th, at the Gunpo Culture and Arts Center's Suri Hall.
This performance was produced as part of the "2025 Performance Hall Resident Group Support Project" sponsored by the Gyeonggi Cultural Foundation. Based on the novel of the same name by bestselling youth author Kim Hye-jeong, this new form of traditional Korean music musical combines pansori, modern musical, and visual effects.
The play centers on the confusion and growth of "Autumn," a fox girl who has remained fifteen for 500 years, yearning to become human. As humans and foxes, past and present, missions and choices intersect, the play explores the "subjective meaning of choosing one's own life." The performance, conceived as a new genre of "K-musical," blending traditional resonance with modern stage techniques, is expected to resonate with audiences of all ages, not just young ones.
The performance will feature singers Seo Jin-sil, Jeong Chorong, and Yoon Ha-jung, musical actors Won Jong-su and Kim Bo-yeon, and actor Ji Seung-min. The Sejong Gugak Orchestra will perform, presenting a harmonious blend of gugak and modern music.
Tickets can be purchased through the Gunpo Culture and Arts Center website and the online ticketing platform "Nolticket." Paid members of the Gunpo Culture and Arts Center can receive a 50% discount on up to four tickets per person.
