【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=KH한국건강관리협회(회장 김인원, 이하 건협)가 건강보험심사평가원이 주관한 제1차 영상검사 적정성 평가에서 전국 17개 지부 모두 1등급을 획득했다.
이번 평가는 CT·MRI 등 주요 영상검사의 적정성과 안전성, 질 관리 수준을 종합적으로 평가한 것이다.
전국 1,694개 의료기관을 대상으로 지난해 7월부터 9월까지 입원 및 외래 환자 검사를 기준으로 진행됐으며, 종합점수 90점 이상 기관에만 1등급이 주어졌다.
건협은 이번 평가에서 ▲조영제 사용 전 환자평가 실시율 ▲MRI 검사 전 환자평가 실시율 ▲CT 피폭저감화 프로그램 사용 여부 등 3개 지표에 대해 검증을 받았다. 환자의 과거력·신장 기능 기록 여부, 체내 금속성 의료기기 보유 여부 확인, 방사선 피폭 최소화 노력 등이 주요 평가 항목이다.
김인원 회장은 “국민에게 안전하고 신뢰할 수 있는 의료 서비스를 제공하기 위한 꾸준한 노력이 인정받았다”며 “앞으로도 환자 안전을 최우선으로 하고, 의료 품질 향상에 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다. 또 “AI 기반 첨단 영상진단 솔루션을 적극 도입해 영상검사의 정밀성과 효율성을 높여 나가겠다”고 덧붙였다.

The Korea Health Management Association (KHMA, President Kim In-won, hereinafter referred to as KHMA) achieved a top grade in the first imaging examination adequacy assessment conducted by the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service (HIRA).
This assessment comprehensively assessed the appropriateness, safety, and quality management of major imaging examinations, including CT and MRI.
The assessment was conducted on 1,694 medical institutions nationwide from July to September of last year, based on inpatient and outpatient examinations. Only institutions with a total score of 90 or higher were awarded a top grade.
KHMA was evaluated on three indicators: the rate of patient evaluation prior to contrast agent use, the rate of patient evaluation prior to MRI examinations, and the use of CT exposure reduction programs. Key evaluation criteria included patient medical history and renal function records, verification of metallic medical devices, and efforts to minimize radiation exposure.
Chairman Kim In-won stated, "Our consistent efforts to provide safe and reliable medical services to the public have been recognized. We will continue to prioritize patient safety and dedicate ourselves to improving medical quality." He added, "We will actively adopt cutting-edge AI-based imaging diagnostic solutions to enhance the precision and efficiency of imaging tests."
