[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시사회복지협의회(회장·김기호)는 1일 협의회 2층 교육실에서 ㈜한국미광(대표·오성열)으로부터 지역인재 양성을 위한 장학금 100만원을 전달받았다고 밝혔다.
이날 전달된 장학금은 진주시 내 경제적 어려움을 겪는 청소년들이 학업에 집중하고 건강하게 성장할 수 있도록 지원하기 위해 마련된 것이다.
오성열 ㈜한국미광 대표는 “작은 정성이지만 지역 청소년들의 미래를 응원하고 싶은 마음에서 장학금을 기탁하게 됐다”고 따뜻한 소감을 전했다.
이어 그는 “앞으로도 기업의 사회적 책임을 다하고, 지역사회와 함께 성장하는 기업이 되도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 덧붙였다.
진주시사회복지협의회는 전달받은 장학금을 지역 내 도움이 필요한 청소년들에게 공정한 절차를 거쳐 전달할 예정이다.
