김철현 경기도의원, ‘2025년 제2차 경기도 기후위기대응위원회’ 참석

경기도의회 미래과학협력위원회 김철현 의원(국민의힘, 안양2)이 지난 9월 3일 네이버 제2사옥 ‘1784’에서 열린 ‘2025년 제2차 경기도 기후위기대응위원회’ 전체회의에 참석했다.

이날 회의에서는 △도-네이버 기후행동 기회소득 파트너십, △RE100 실천과 기업 경쟁력, △경기기후플랫폼 활용, △경기RE100 활성화 방안 등이 주요 안건으로 논의됐다.

김철현 의원은 “경기도의 기후행동 기회소득은 도민이 대중교통 이용, 다회용기 사용 등 일상 속 탄소 감축 활동에 참여하고 지역화폐로 보상받는 혁신적 정책”이라며, “1년여 만에 150만 명이 참여한 만큼 의회도 안정적 예산 지원으로 뒷받침하겠다”고 밝혔다.

한편 회의가 열린 네이버 ‘1784’는 로봇·AI·자율주행 등 미래 기술이 집약된 세계 최초 친(親)로봇 빌딩으로, 기술 상용화를 위한 글로벌 테스트베드 역할을 하고 있다.

Rep. Kim Cheol-hyun (People Power Party, Anyang 2), a member of the Gyeonggi Provincial Council's Future Science Cooperation Committee, attended the plenary session of the "2nd Gyeonggi Province Climate Crisis Response Committee Meeting in 2025" held at Naver's second headquarters building, "1784," on September 3.

The meeting discussed key agenda items including the province-Naver Climate Action Opportunity Income Partnership, RE100 implementation and corporate competitiveness, utilization of the Gyeonggi Climate Platform, and measures to revitalize Gyeonggi RE100.

Rep. Kim Cheol-hyun stated, "Gyeonggi Province's Climate Action Opportunity Income is an innovative policy where residents participate in everyday carbon reduction activities, such as using public transportation and reusable containers, and are rewarded with local currency." He added, "With 1.5 million people participating in just over a year, the council will support the initiative with stable budgetary support." Meanwhile, Naver's "1784," where the meeting was held, is the world's first robot-friendly building, integrating future technologies such as robotics, AI, and autonomous driving, and serves as a global testbed for technology commercialization.
