【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=행복북구문화재단(이사장 배광식) 태전도서관이 국립어린이청소년도서관이 주관하는 ‘미래 꿈 희망 창작소’ 공모사업에 선정됐다고 6일 밝혔다.
대구지역에서 이름 올린 도서관은 태전도서관이 유일하다.
이에 따라 오는 9월 27일 도서관에서는 동화 속 소품 만들기 체험 프로그램이 열린다.
선정 도서를 함께 읽은 뒤, 참여 어린이들이 직접 나만의 에코백을 디자인·제작하는 방식으로 진행된다. 단순한 독서에 그치지 않고 창작 활동과 연결해 아이들의 상상력과 표현력을 키울 수 있도록 구성된 것이 특징이다.
‘미래 꿈 희망 창작소’는 전국 공공도서관을 대상으로 확산되고 있는 창의 역량 강화 프로그램이다. 독서를 통해 사고의 폭을 넓히고, 이를 창작으로 확장하는 과정을 중시한다.
태전도서관 관계자는 “아이들이 책을 읽고 느낀 생각을 작품으로 표현하는 특별한 경험이 되길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 도서관이 창의력과 상상력을 키우는 공간이 될 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
