세종시선관위, 추석 명절 위법행위 예방·단속

세종시선관위가 추석 명절을 앞두고 위법행위 단속 강화에 나섰다.

9일 시선관위에 따르면  다가오는 추석 명절 인사 명목으로 선거구민에게 금품을 제공하는 등 불법행위가 발생할 우려가 있다고 보고 상시 단속을 펼칠 에정이다.

특히, 내년 6월 실시하는 제9회 전국동시지방선거 입후보예정자의 당내 경선 관련 당비대납, 택배 등을 이용한 금품제공 등 위법행위 증가가 예상되면서 정당, 국회의원, 지방의원, 지방자치단체장 및 입후보예정자 등을 대상으로 예방에 초점을 맞춰 “할 수 있는 사례” 중심으로 안내하기로 했다.

아울러, 공정한 선거질서를 훼손하는 기부·매수행위 등 주요 선거범죄에 대해서는 광역조사팀과 공정선거지원단 등 단속인력을 동원해 신속·엄중하게 조사·조치할 방침이다.
