【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=영진전문대학교 일본IT과 졸업생들이 일본 현지 기업 대표와 함께 모교를 방문해 장학금을 전달하며 후배들을 격려했다.
지난 9일 영진전문대에 따르면 일본 IT기업 MIC에서 근무 중인 장성규 씨와 문태호 씨가 카와이 카츠야 MIC 대표와 함께 모교를 찾아 2000만 원의 장학금을 기탁했다.
두 졸업생은 컴퓨터정보계열 일본IT과 출신으로 현재 일본 유망 IT기업 MIC에서 근무하고 있다. 일본IT과는 2026학년도부터 AI글로벌IT과로 명칭이 변경될 예정이다.
장성규 씨와 문태호 씨는 후배들에게 대학 시절 일본 취업반에서 하루 12시간 넘게 학업과 훈련을 받았던 경험을 공유했다.
문태호 씨는 "작은 목표를 세우고 하루하루 충실히 나아가면 반드시 좋은 결과가 온다"고 조언했다.
장성규 씨는 "취업할 회사를 고를 때는 자신이 하고 싶은 일을 할 수 있는지가 가장 중요하다"고 말했다.
특히 일본 현지 적응 과정에서 선후배와 동기들의 도움이 큰 힘이 됐다고 강조했다.
최재영 총장은 "자랑스럽다"며 "더 많은 후배가 해외로 진출할 수 있도록 길을 열어 달라"고 말했다.
