안양도시공사, ‘사랑의 집수리’와 장애인시설 개선 봉사활동

안양도시공사(사장 김경수)가 지난 9월 13일 사회공헌단체 ‘사랑의 집수리’와 함께 안양시 동안구 비산동에 위치한 안양시장애인인권센터를 찾아 주거환경 개선 봉사활동을 펼쳤다.

이날 공사 직원 12명은 △센터 내부 천장 벽지 철거, △곰팡이 제거, △짐 정리 등 환경 개선 작업을 진행하며 장애인 이용자들의 쾌적한 생활공간 조성을 위해 구슬땀을 흘렸다.

김경수 사장은 “앞으로도 지역사회와 함께하는 다양한 사회공헌 활동을 지속할 것”이라며, “특히 취약계층의 주거환경 개선을 통해 따뜻한 공동체 문화를 확산하는 데 힘쓰겠다”고 말했다.

한편, 안양도시공사는 지난 2011년 ‘사랑의 집수리’와 업무협약을 체결한 이후 꾸준히 관내 취약계층 주거환경 개선 사업을 이어오고 있다. 또한 가평군 수해복구 지원 등 지역 현장에서의 사회공헌 활동도 적극 펼치며 ‘지역과 함께 성장하는 공기업’의 역할을 강화하고 있다.
