【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 남구체육회가 문화체육관광부 주관 생활체육지도자 활동 지원 사업 성과 평가에서 대구시 전체 1위, 전국 4위를 기록했다.
대한체육회가 전국 229개 시군구 체육회를 대상으로 실시한 이번 평가는 시민들의 생활체육 교실 참여율과 만족도, 지도자의 업무 수행 능력 등 사업 전반을 종합적으로 평가했다.
남구체육회는 주민 생활영역에 지도자를 고정 배치해 성인들에게 다양한 종목의 프로그램을 제공하고 있다.
특히 유청소년들에게는 1인 1개 스포츠 참여 여건을 조성하고, 지역사회 어르신들을 위한 맞춤형 체육 프로그램을 개발해 다양한 계층의 생활체육 참여를 이끌어낸 점이 높은 평가를 받았다.
이번 성과로 남구체육회는 문화체육관광부로부터 530만 원의 인센티브를 받게 됐다.
조재구 남구청장은 "이번 성과는 남구체육회와 지도자들이 생활체육 활성화를 위해 꾸준히 노력한 결과"라며 "현장에서 애쓴 모든 분들의 노고에 감사드린다"고 말했다.
