【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 북구는 북구정신건강복지센터가 '2025년 지역사회 정신건강 우수 프로그램·사례관리 공모' 사례관리 분야에서 최우수상을 수상했다고 17일 밝혔다.
대구 북구보건소에서 위탁운영 중인 북구정신건강복지센터는 의료기관과 복지관, 행정복지센터 같은 지역사회 내 다양한 자원과 연계·협력해 정신질환 대상자를 적극적으로 발굴하고 지원하고 있다.
센터는 중증정신질환자 관리를 비롯해 정신건강 상담 및 선별검사, 교육 및 캠페인, 자살예방사업 등 다양한 정신건강 서비스를 추진하고 있다.
특히 중증정신질환 대상자의 정서 지지와 더불어 경제적 자립 지원, 일상 및 사회적 관계 회복을 위해 다방면으로 노력한 점이 지역사회 정신건강 증진에 기여한 우수사례로 인정받아 최우수기관으로 선정됐다.
배광식 북구청장은 "앞으로도 정신건강복지센터로의 접근성을 높이고 대상자별 연계 및 맞춤형 개별사례관리를 통해 개인적·사회적 손실을 최소화하는 정신건강 서비스를 제공하겠다"고 말했다.
