시교육청은 먼저 단위학교에 지원하는 공사 예산을 조기 교부하고, 공사업체에는 기성금·선금·노무비 구분관리제 등 대금 청구 제도를 적극 안내해 명절 전 청구를 독려한다.
또 기성 및 준공 검사는 5일 이내, 공사대금 지급은 청구 후 3일 이내에 완료해 추석 전에 대금이 현장에 집행되도록 속도를 높인다.
아울러 모든 공사현장을 대상으로 근로자 임금과 하도급 대금, 자재·장비 대금 등의 체불 여부를 집중 점검하고, 각 공사업체 대표자에게 체불 방지를 당부하는 공문도 발송한다.
강은희 교육감은 “지역 건설업체들이 자금 압박에서 벗어나고 근로자들도 임금 걱정 없이 명절을 보낼 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”며 “풍성하고 따뜻한 추석이 되도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
