[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 온실가스 저감과 대기질 개선을 위해 오는 25일부터 신청 접수를 시작 ‘2025년 전기자동차 3차 보급사업’을 추진한다고 22일 밝혔다.
시는 올해까지 전기자동차 737대를 보급했으며, 늘어나는 수요를 고려해 제2회 추경에서 예산을 추가 확보해 당초 연 2회였던 보조금 지원을 올해는 총 3회로 확대해 추진하게 됐다.
이번 3차 보급사업을 통해 시는 전기승용차 250대와 전기화물차 30대 등 총 280대를 지원하며, 전기승용차의 경우 최대 1200만원, 전기화물차는 소형 기준 최대 2090만원까지 보조금이 지급된다.
또한 전기승용차를 생애 첫 차로 구매하는 청년층은 국비의 20%를 추가로 지원받을 수 있으며, 다자녀 가구 역시 최대 300만 원까지 국비가 더해져 실질적 혜택을 누릴 수 있다.
전기화물차 구매자는 농업인은 국비 10%, 소상공인은 국비 30%를 추가 지원받을 수 있어 친환경차 보급과 함께 지역 경제인, 소상공인에게 실질적인 도움을 제공할 전망이다.
