[브레이크뉴스=김완영 기자] 경기도 양주도시공사(사장 이흥규)는 양주도시공사가 운영하는 옥정체육공원 실내체육관이 시설물 안전관리 수준과 활동의 우수성을 인정받아, 제24회 대한민국 안전대상 우수기업상 공공서비스 분야에서 ‘소방청장상’ 대상으로 선정됐다고 밝혔다.
대한민국 안전대상은 소방청이 주최하고 한국안전인증원, 한국소방산업기술원, 한국소방안전원이 주관하는 시상으로, 안전경영·건축방재·소방안전·위험물안전·설비안전·설비성능시험 등 종합적인 평가를 통해 수상기관을 선정한다.
공사는 해당 시설의 안전 수준 강화를 위해 ▲등받이 방호울 사다리와 추락방지 안전휀스 설치 ▲소방용품 보호커버 적용 ▲저수조 출입구 개선(미닫이 출입문 설치) 등 시설 개선을 추진하여 내·외부 고객이 안전하게 체육관을 이용할 수 있도록 했다.
또한 ▲안전보건경영시스템(ISO45001)과 환경경영시스템(ISO14001) 인증 획득 ▲전 직원 대상 응급처치·심폐소생술 교육과 체험형 재난안전교육 실시 등 체계적인 안전경영 실현에도 힘써왔다.
아울러, 양주도시공사에서는 관내 모 대학과 산업체 위탁교육으로 소방관련학과를 전 직원에게 전문학사 학위취득 과정을 검토하고 있는 것으로 알려졌다
