교통비 환급·지역화폐 캐시백 한 장으로…
시민 생활편의·지역경제 효과 기대
세종시가 오는 10월 1일 대중교통 월 정액권 ‘이응패스’와 지역화폐 ‘여민전’을 결합한 통합카드를 공식 출시한다고 밝혔다. 이번 통합카드 도입으로 교통비 환급과 지역화폐 캐시백을 한 번에 누릴 수 있게 돼 시민 편의성과 지역경제 파급효과가 크게 높아질 전망이다.
통합카드는 기존 이응패스 기능을 그대로 유지한다. 성인은 월 2만 원 결제로 최대 5만 원까지 환급받을 수 있으며, 청소년·어르신·장애인은 무료로 이용하면서 동일한 환급 혜택을 적용받는다.
이용 범위도 세종시 BRT·시내버스뿐 아니라 대전, 청주, 천안, 공주, 계룡 지역 버스와 지하철, 공영자전거 어울링까지 포함돼 광역교통 이동에 실질적인 혜택을 제공한다. 또한 케이(K)패스와의 중복 환급도 계속 가능해 교통비 부담 경감 효과가 커질 것으로 기대된다.
