[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 부산광역시의회가 22일부터 29일까지 8일간 제335회 임시회를 열고 추경예산안과 조례안 등 주요 안건 심사에 들어갔다.
이번 임시회에서는 조례안 26건, 동의안 15건, 예산안 3건, 의견청취안 1건, 결의안 1건 등 총 46건의 안건이 처리될 예정이다. 특히 부산시와 부산시교육청이 편성한 추가경정예산안 심사가 핵심 안건으로 다뤄진다.
부산시 추경예산안은 5508억 원 규모로 기존 예산 대비 3.0퍼센트 증가했으며, 교육청 추경예산안은 1839억 원으로 본예산 대비 3.3퍼센트 늘었다. 시의회는 이번 심의를 통해 중동 정세 등 외부 요인으로 인한 민생 부담을 완화하고 교육환경 개선에 필요한 재정이 신속하게 집행되도록 한다는 방침이다.
회기 첫날 열린 제1차 본회의에서는 시장과 교육감의 추경예산안 제안 설명이 진행됐으며, 의원 8명이 5분 자유발언을 통해 해양, 문화, 교통, 교육 등 주요 현안에 대한 점검과 대책 마련을 촉구했다.
상임위원회는 23일부터 26일까지 나흘간 추경예산안과 각종 안건을 심사하며, 이어 예산결산특별위원회가 27일과 28일 이틀 동안 종합심사를 진행한다.
임시회 마지막 날인 29일에는 제2차 본회의를 열어 각 위원회 심사 결과를 최종 의결하고 추가 자유발언을 끝으로 회기를 마무리할 예정이다.
한편 차기 제336회 정례회는 오는 6월 9일부터 23일까지 15일간 개최된다.

The Busan Metropolitan Council convened its 335th extraordinary session on April 22, launching an eight-day schedule through April 29 to deliberate key agenda items, including supplementary budgets and ordinances.
A total of 46 items are set for review, comprising 26 ordinances, 15 consent motions, three budget bills, one opinion request, and one resolution. The review of supplementary budgets proposed by the Busan city government and the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education is expected to be the central focus of the session.
The city’s supplementary budget totals 550.8 billion won, marking a 3.0 percent increase from the original budget. The education office’s supplementary budget stands at 183.9 billion won, up 3.3 percent from its initial allocation. The council aims to ensure timely and targeted execution of the budgets to ease the financial burden on residents amid global uncertainties, including the Middle East situation, and to improve educational conditions.
On the opening day, the first plenary session heard budget proposals presented by the mayor and the superintendent of education. Eight council members also delivered five-minute free speeches, calling for measures to address key issues in sectors such as maritime affairs, culture, transportation, and education.
Standing committees will review the bills and budgets from April 23 to 26, followed by comprehensive deliberations by the Budget and Accounts Committee on April 27 and 28.
The session will conclude on April 29 with a second plenary meeting, where final decisions on all agenda items will be made, along with additional five-minute speeches.
The council’s next regular session is scheduled to run from June 9 to June 23 for 15 days.
