김도현 안양시의원, 크로스핏 저변 확대 공로 ‘안양쓰로우다운 감사패’ 수상

안양시의회 김도현 의원(더불어민주당, 안양사)이 지난 9월 20일 평촌중앙공원에서 열린 ‘제1회 안양쓰로우다운’ 대회에서 크로스핏 생활체육 활성화에 기여한 공로로 안양크로스핏협회(가칭)로부터 감사패를 받았다.

안양크로스핏협회는 안양시 관내 9개 체육관이 모여 결성한 단체로, 이날 개최한 첫 지역 대회에 선수와 동호인, 시민 등 400여 명이 참가, 성황을 이뤘다. 김도현 의원은 지난 5월부터 관계자들과 간담회를 갖는 등 대회 개최를 지원하며 저변 확대에 힘써왔다.

김도현 의원은 “안양쓰로우다운은 기량 겨룸을 넘어 세대와 성별을 아우르는 공동체의 장”이라며, “크로스핏의 도전과 연대 정신이 시민 속에 자리 잡도록 지속 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다.

대회를 총괄한 김태형 헤드코치(크로스핏아케이드)는 “지역 체육공동체를 한데 모을 수 있도록 힘써주신 데 감사드린다”고 전했다.

한편 대회에서는 △남자 개인전 김제경(크로스핏아케이드), △여자 개인전 강지윤(하이바), △팀전 크로스핏백호가 각각 우승을 차지했다.

Anyang City Council Member Kim Do-hyun Receives Anyang Throwdown Plaque of Appreciation for Expanding CrossFit Base

Anyang City Council Member Kim Do-hyun (Democratic Party of Korea, Anyang Branch) received a plaque of appreciation from the Anyang CrossFit Association (tentative name) for his contribution to the promotion of CrossFit as a recreational sport at the "1st Anyang Throwdown" held at Pyeongchon Central Park on September 20th.

The Anyang CrossFit Association, formed by nine gyms in the city, held its first regional competition that day, attracting over 400 participants, including athletes, amateurs, and citizens.
