중구청(구청장 류규하)과 중구가족센터(센터장 임시아)는 지난 25일 중구생활문화센터에서 다문화가족 봉사단 15명과 함께 전통음식 만들기 및 나눔 행사를 열었다. 참여 가족들은 차례 음식과 추석 간식을 직접 만들어 관내 홀로어르신과 취약계층 30가구에 전달하며 따뜻한 명절 정을 나눴다. 한 참가자는 “내가 만든 음식을 이웃과 나눌 수 있어 더 큰 보람을 느꼈다”고 소감을 전했다.

같은 날, 대구경북인쇄정보산업협동조합(위원장 박창용)도 남산2동·남산3동 행정복지센터를 찾아 각각 320만 원씩 총 640만 원의 성금을 전달했다. 박 위원장은 “조합원들의 따뜻한 마음이 명절을 앞둔 소외계층에 작은 힘이 되길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 지역과 함께 성장하는 협동조합이 되겠다”고 말했다.

또한 동인동지역사회보장협의체(위원장 이나연)는 거동이 불편한 홀로어르신 댁을 방문해 청소와 정리수납 봉사를 진행했다. 도움을 받은 어르신은 “집이 깨끗해져 마음까지 한결 가벼워졌다”며 감사의 뜻을 전했다. 이 위원장은 “앞으로도 어려운 이웃을 살피고 맞춤형 지원을 통해 따뜻한 공동체를 만들어가겠다”고 전했다.
중구 곳곳에서 이어진 이번 활동들은 추석 명절을 앞두고 지역사회의 온정과 나눔 문화를 다시금 되새기는 계기가 됐다.

Ahead of Chuseok, diverse sharing activities are taking place throughout Daegu's Jung-gu District, spreading warmth to the local community.
Jung-gu Office (Mayor Ryu Gyu-ha) and the Jung-gu Family Center (Director Im Si-ah) held a traditional food making and sharing event with 15 multicultural family volunteers at the Jung-gu Living and Culture Center on the 25th. Participating families made ancestral rite food and Chuseok snacks and delivered them to 30 households living alone, including senior citizens and vulnerable groups, sharing the warmth of the holiday. One participant commented, "I felt a greater sense of accomplishment because I was able to share the food I made with my neighbors."
On the same day, the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Printing Information Industry Cooperative (Chairman Park Chang-yong) also visited the Namsan 2-dong and Namsan 3-dong Administrative Welfare Centers and donated 3.2 million won each, for a total of 6.4 million won. Chairman Park said, "I hope the warm hearts of our members will provide some small boost to the underprivileged ahead of the holiday season. We will continue to be a cooperative that grows together with the community."
Furthermore, the Dongin-dong Community Welfare Council (Chairperson Lee Na-yeon) visited the homes of elderly people living alone with limited mobility, providing cleaning and organizing services. The elderly person who received assistance expressed their gratitude, saying, "My home is cleaner, and my heart feels much lighter." Chairman Lee added, "We will continue to look out for our neighbors in need and provide tailored support to build a warm community."
These activities, held throughout Jung-gu, served as an opportunity to reflect on the warmth and sharing culture of the local community ahead of the Chuseok holiday.
