김해시는 지난 29일 오전 진영한빛도서관 2층에서 ‘진영권역 종합사회복지관 건립 추진 주민협의체 간담회’를 개최했다고 30일 밝혔다.
이번 간담회는 복지관 건립 과정의 투명성을 높이고 실제 이용자들의 필요(수요)에 기반한 실효성 높은 복지 공간을 만들기 위한 김해시의 파격적인 주민 협력 모델로 평가받고 있다.
이번 주민협의체 간담회에는 노인, 장애인, 아동 분야의 주민 대표를 비롯해 시의원, 관계 공무원 등 총 15명의 위원이 참석했으며, 복지관의 주요 이용 계층이 직접 건립 과정에 참여함으로써, 특정 집단에 치우치지 않는 '종합 복지' 기능을 갖춘 시설을 만들겠다는 의지를 보였다.
