[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 경남테크노파크(경남TP)가 지역 청소년들의 미래 과학기술 역량과 진로 인식을 높이기 위한 특별한 현장 체험 행사, ‘미리 걷는 과학자의 길’을 개최했다.
지난 9월 30일, 창녕 남지여자중학교 학생 62명이 경남TP의 첨단 연구 현장을 직접 찾아 미래 산업의 핵심인 로봇 기술을 생생하게 경험하는 기회를 가졌다.
이번 행사는 청소년들이 빠르게 변화하는 글로컬(Glocal) 과학기술 트렌드를 직접 체감하고, 과학기술 분야에 대한 폭넓은 이해를 돕기 위해 마련되었다. 참가 학생들은 경남TP의 핵심 인프라인 제조로봇기술센터를 방문해 미래 과학기술 전문가의 길을 미리 체험했다.
학생들은 경남TP 센터 연구원의 강연을 통해 로봇에 대한 심도 있는 이해를 높였다. 센터 내에 구축된 연구 장비와 실제 로봇 시험 현장을 직접 둘러보며, 이론으로만 접했던 기술이 산업 현장에서 어떻게 구현되는지 실감형 진로체험을 경험했다.
