[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 거창 승강기밸리에서 개발된 스마트 승강기 공동모델인 ‘G-엘리베이터’가 신흥시장인 몽골 수출의 쾌거를 달성했다. 이는 지역 중소기업들이 ICT 기술을 융합한 제품으로 기술 경쟁력을 확보하고 해외 시장 진출에 성공했다.
(사)승강기밸리기업협의회(회장 신양건)는 14일 협의회 제조공장에서 구인모 거창군수, 이재운 거창군의회 의장 등 관계 기관 및 기업 관계자 30여 명이 참석한 가운데 G-엘리베이터 몽골 수출 기념 행사를 개최하고 성공적인 해외 진출을 축하했다.
이번 수출의 기반은 거창군이 2022년 산업통상부 공모사업에 선정되어 추진한 ‘스마트 승강기 공동모델 개발사업’이다. 승강기밸리기업협의회는 이를 통해 국내 중소기업들의 기술 경쟁력 향상을 목표로 ICT 기술을 융합한 스마트 승강기 제품 개발에 주력해왔다.
협의회는 밸리 내 13개 제조기업과 협력하여 2024년 12월까지 6mm 로프 시스템과 3mm 벨트 시스템 등 4개 모델 개발을 완료했으며, 올해 6월에는 스마트 승강기 공동모델 인증을 획득하고 본격적인 생산 체제에 돌입하며 시장의 기대감을 높였다.
