【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=영진전문대는 ‘재학생 격려 간식 나눔’ 행사를 열고 중간고사를 준비하는 학생들 응원에 나섰다.
지난 14일 오후 5시 도서관앞에서는 박종백 부총장과 하덕식 교무처장, 박효진 학생복지취업처장, 송혜영 도서관장이 직접 현장에 나와 학생들에게 간식을 전달하고 응원의 말을 건넸다.
이날 행사에는 샌드위치 600개와 청보리차, 커피 등 음료, 피로 해소용 초콜릿과 젤리 등이 준비됐다.
행사 시작과 동시에 간식을 받으려는 학생들의 줄이 길게 이어졌고, 곳곳에서 웃음이 퍼졌다. 학생들은 잠시나마 시험 부담을 내려놓고 친구들과 담소를 나누며 활력을 되찾았다. 외국인 유학생들도 함께 참여해 행사의 온기를 더했다.
알제리 출신 베르칸 아미나 학생은 “추석이 끝나고 바로 시험이라 힘들었는데, 학교에서 간식을 챙겨주니 큰 힘이 된다”며 “학교생활에 점점 더 잘 적응하고 있다는 소속감을 느꼈다”고 말했다.
타지키스탄 출신 마흐마도바 샤흐조다 학생은 “시험 기간엔 식사도 거를 때가 많지만, 든든한 샌드위치와 커피를 받아 정말 기뻤다”며 “학생을 세심히 챙겨주는 한국 대학 문화에 감동받았다”고 전했다.
도서관 관계자는 “연휴에도 쉬지 않고 공부한 학생들에게 작지만 따뜻한 위로가 되었길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 학생들의 노력을 응원하는 다양한 행사를 이어가겠다”고 말했다.
