【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 북구의 대표 생활문화 프로그램 '토요문화골목시장 펼쳐락'이 지난 9월 6일부터 10월 18일까지 매주 토요일 문화예술거리 이태원길 팔거광장에서 성황리에 열렸다.
행복북구문화재단이 주관한 이번 행사는 무대공연과 플리마켓, 거리투어가 어우러진 복합문화행사다. 2019년 이태원길이 만들어진 이후 매년 주민들의 꾸준한 호응 속에 펼쳐져 왔다.
특히 올해는 주민예술경연대회 참가 규모가 역대 최대치를 기록했다. 지난해 53팀(231명)에서 57팀(263명)으로 늘어나며 지역 생활문화 저변 확대를 보여줬다. 경연은 보컬, 댄스, 밴드, 악기 등 네 부문으로 진행됐으며, 본선에는 12팀이 올라 열띤 무대를 펼쳤다.
대상은 보컬 부문의 양수아가 차지했다. 최우수상은 완성형(보컬), 우수상은 믹스커피(밴드), 인기상은 Band_Mistake(밴드)와 팔공밴드(밴드)가 받았다. 수상자에게는 대상 100만원, 최우수상 50만원, 우수상 30만원, 인기상 15만원의 상금이 주어졌다.
심사위원단은 "참가자들의 수준이 해마다 높아지고 있다"며 "이 무대가 일상의 문화가 예술로 성장하고 다시 일상으로 이어지는 순환의 장이 되길 기대한다"고 평했다.
행사 기간 동안 소설가 이태원의 대표작 '객사'의 배경지를 따라가는 '칠곡도호부 옛길 투어'와 플리마켓도 함께 운영됐다. 방문객들에게 다양한 체험과 볼거리를 제공했다. 특히 거리투어는 문학과 지역 역사, 생활문화를 잇는 프로그램으로 호응을 얻었다.
행복북구문화재단 박정숙 대표이사는 "토요문화골목시장 펼쳐락은 주민이 문화의 주체가 되는 무대이자, 생활문화가 지역에 뿌리내리는 장"이라며 "앞으로도 주민이 일상 속에서 문화를 즐기고 만들어낼 수 있도록 지원을 이어가겠다"고 말했다.

Yang Su-ah won the grand prize in the vocal category. The Grand Prize went to Wanwolhyeong (vocal), the Excellence Award went to Mix Coffee (band), and the Popularity Award went to Band_Mistake (band) and Palgong Band (band). The winners received a grand prize of 1 million won, a first prize of 500,000 won, a second prize of 300,000 won, and a popularity award of 150,000 won.
The judges commented, "The level of the participants is improving every year," and added, "We hope this stage will become a place where everyday culture can grow into art and then return to everyday life."
During the event, a "Chilgokdohobu Old Road Tour," which traces the setting of novelist Lee Tae-won's masterpiece "Guest Death," and a flea market were also held. Visitors enjoyed a variety of experiences and attractions. The street tour, in particular, was well-received as a program that connected literature, local history, and everyday culture.
Park Jeong-sook, CEO of the Happy Buk-gu Cultural Foundation, said, "The Saturday Cultural Alley Market is a stage where residents become the main actors of culture and a place where daily culture takes root in the region," and added, "We will continue to support residents so that they can enjoy and create culture in their daily lives."
