파주시는 11월 8일 파평면 리비교 역사문화공원에서 ‘DMZ 평화의 길 펫 트레킹’ 행사를 개최한다고 밝혔다.

이번 행사는 시민들이 일상에서 벗어나 반려동물과 함께 임진강변을 따라 산책하며 건강을 증진하고, 반려동물 예절 강의를 통해 유익한 정보를 얻을 수 있도록 기획되었다.
주요 프로그램으로는 반려동물과 함께 ‘DMZ 평화의 길’ 9코스를 걷는 트레킹과 다양한 체험 활동이 마련된다.
체험 공간에서는 반려동물 발 도장 액자 만들기, 바람개비 머리핀 만들기, 전통놀이, 반려동물 배변 교환소 등을 운영한다. 포토존과 함께 반려동물 예절 강의도 진행된다.
참가자에게는 반려동물 간식, 배변 봉투, 생수 등의 기념품이 제공되며, 반려동물과 함께 9코스를 완주한 견주에게는 완보 인증서가 수여된다.
