이번 선발에는 국방군사계열 2학년 재학생 4명이 지원해 김나연, 곽병국, 박건창, 최고은 학생 모두가 합격자 명단에 이름을 올렸다.
특히 김나연, 최고은 학생은 여성 지원자로서 치열한 경쟁을 뚫고 합격해 주목을 받았다.
국방군사계열은 부사관뿐만 아니라 장교 진출을 희망하는 학생들을 위해 '육군3사관학교 특별반'을 운영하고 있다.
군 출신 교수진이 학업, 체력, 면접 등 입교 준비 전 과정을 체계적으로 지도하고 있으며, 이번 전원 합격으로 특별반 운영의 효과가 다시 한번 입증됐다.
합격자 최고은 학생은 "육군3사관학교 입교는 제 인생의 목표였다"면서 "동기들과 교수님의 지도가 큰 힘이 됐고, 앞으로 조국을 수호하는 책임감 있는 장교로 성장하겠다"고 각오를 밝혔다.
합격한 김나연, 곽병국, 박건창 학생도 "서로 응원하며 함께 도전했던 팀워크가 합격의 원동력이 됐다"고 소감을 전했다.
김기병 국방군사계열 부장 교수는 "이번 성과는 학생들의 끈기 있는 노력과 교수진의 밀착 지도 결과"라며 "앞으로도 국방 리더를 꿈꾸는 학생들이 목표를 이룰 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다"고 강조했다.
