박민원 총장 “창원국가산단과 산학일치 향해 나아간다” 특강

[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 국립창원대학교(총장 박민원)는 콜롬비아 산업정책 관계자 및 공공기관 대표로 구성된 산업연수단이 국립창원대를 방문, 창원국가산업단지와 대학의 협력모델을 주제로 한 박민원 총장의 특강 및 교류협력 등의 시간을 가졌다고 30일 밝혔다.

이번 방문은 대한민국 외교통상부 산하 KOICA(한국국제협력단)가 주관하고, 경상남도와 국립창원대가 공동으로 수행 중인 국제개발협력(ODA) 사업의 일환으로 마련됐다. 특히 이번 초청연수는 ‘콜롬비아 까르따헤나 지역 조선·기계 스마트산업단지 조성을 위한 역량강화 연수’ 과정의 주요 일정 중 하나로 진행됐다.

박 총장은 ‘National Industrial Complex and Changwon National University’를 주제로 국립창원대 대학본부에서 가진 강연에서 “창원은 대한민국 제조산업의 중심지로, 대학과 산업단지가 긴밀히 협력하며 발전한 대표적 성공 모델”이라며 “이 같은 산학협력 생태계는 콜롬비아 산업단지 조성에도 훌륭한 벤치마킹 사례가 될 것”이라고 강조했다.
