전라북도 부안군 변산반도 채석강(격포항)에 가면, 해안가에 켜켜이 쌓인 바위 층을 볼 수 있다.
쌓인 돌들이 아름답다. 먼 해안에서 불어오는 바닷바람들이 이 돌들을 싸고돈다. 현대 문명들은 채석강 바위들처럼 켜켜이 쌓여가고 있다.
필자는 연필 세대-볼펜 세대-타자기 세대-컴퓨터 자판 세대-스마트폰 글자판 세대를 거쳐, 지금은 인공지능 세대를 살고 있다. 변산반도 채석강의 바위처럼 현대의 첨단문화가 켜켜이 쌓여가고 있음을 체험하고 있다.
나는 정말로 대단한 세대를 살고 있다. 어마어마한 세상에 살고 있음을 시시각각 느낀다. 그 가운데서, 나는 첨단 인터넷 신문의 오너(사주)로서, 이 문명의 생산물-족적들을 매일같이 쌓아가고 있다.

한국은 인터넷 최고 선진(先進)국가이다. 필자는 이런 첨단 문명시대의 제1선에서 살고 있는 사람이다. 현대 과학사회가 발전시킨 문화적인 특혜를 몽땅 누리고 사는 사람이다.

현대 문명은 급 변화하고 있다. 미래로 나아간다. 나는 이 문명은 물결을 따라 미래로 미래로 나아간다. 이것이 나의 삶이다. 이 시대를 살아가고 있는 나는 스스로 나를 존경하는 자존감을 지니고 있다.
어느 시대의 사람들보다 크고 아름다운 문화적 큰 혜택을 누리면서 살고 있기 때문이다.
