[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 31일 오전 11시께 시청 시민홀에서 차석호 제24대 부시장 명예퇴임식을 열고, 33년간의 공직생활을 마무리한 차 부시장의 명예로운 퇴임을 축하했다.
이날 행사는 조규일 진주시장을 비롯해 가족, 친지, 시청 직원 등 200여명이 참석해 차 부시장의 헌신과 열정을 기렸다.
진주시는 퇴임기념 영상 상영과 감사패 전달이 이어졌으며, 차 부시장은 참석자들과 일일이 악수하며 따뜻한 작별의 인사를 나눴다.
경남 함안 출신인 차석호 부시장은 지난 1992년 경남도 행정 7급 공채로 공직에 입문한 뒤 함양군 부군수, 경남도 문화관광체육국장 등을 역임하며 도정의 주요 현안을 성공적으로 추진해왔다.
차 부시장은 지난해 1월 진주시 부시장으로 부임한 이후에는 시민 안전과 도시 발전을 위해 헌신하며 시정의 주요 현안을 조율했다.
