경기도의회 문형근 여성가족평생교육위원장(더불어민주당, 안양3)이 지난 10월 30일 용인실내체육관에서 열린 ‘2025 경기보육인대회’에 참석해 축사를 통해 보육의 공공성과 현장 중심 정책의 중요성을 강조했다.
(사)경기도어린이집연합회(회장 장경임) 주최로 열린 이번 행사는 도내 어린이집 보육교직원들이 한자리에 모여 보육현장의 성과를 공유하고 유공자 및 공모전 수상자를 시상하는 자리로 보육교직원과 관계자, 공무원 등 2,000여 명이 참석해 성황을 이뤘다.
문형근 위원장은 축사에서 “보육은 단순한 돌봄이 아니라 아이의 성장과 사회의 지속가능성을 책임지는 미래 기반 정책”이라며, “보육교직원 한 분 한 분의 헌신이 곧 경기도의 품격을 높이는 힘”이라고 말했다.
문 위원장은 이어서 “저출생 시대일수록 아이와 교사 모두가 행복한 보육환경이 절실하다”며, “공보육의 내실화, 보육교직원 처우 개선, 부모의 신뢰 회복이 함께 이루어져야 한다”고 강조했다.

이날 대회에서는 교육부장관상, 경기도지사상, 경기도의회의장상, 경기도교육감상 등 190여 명의 보육유공자와 공모전 입상자들이 수상했다.
