이 위대한 흐름의 중심에는 몽골 예술의 세계화를 향한 '블루선'의 오랜 염원과 더불어, 경북 칠곡문화예술위원회 서세승 위원장님의 선구적인 안목과 헌신이 단단히 뿌리내리고 있었다.
달흐-오치르(Yo. Dalkh-Ochir) 작가에 의해 2002년 설립된 '블루선'은 몽골 최초의 비영리 현대미술 전문 기관으로, 몽골 현대미술의 생동하는 역사 그 자체이다.
140여 명에 달하는 예술가들이 '몽골의 숨결을 세계로'라는 숭고한 사명 아래 창조와 소통의 씨앗을 뿌려왔다. 핀란드 아트 디렉터 안누 벨리누스(Annu Velinus)와의 협력으로 몽골 최초의 아트 캠프를 개최했다.

제18회를 맞이한 대구국제아트페어는 데이비드 호크니, 쿠사마 야요이 등 거장들의 작품을 포함하여 6개국 108개 갤러리에서 출품된 3천여 점의 다채로운 작품들로 예술적 향연을 펼쳤다.
이 거대한 흐름 속에서, 지난 10월 30일부터 11월 2일까지 대구에서 열린 '대구 아트페어 2025'의 '청년미술프로젝트 특별전'은 '블루선' 센터에 또 다른 찬란한 계절을 선사했다.
