[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 진주종합경기장에서 지난 5일부터 9일까지 열린 ‘2025 진주국제농식품박람회’가 5일간의 일정을 마치며 성황리에 막을 내렸다고 10일 밝혔다.
올해 박람회는 16개국 261개 기업이 참여해 519개 부스를 운영했으며, 농업·체험·문화 프로그램을 통해 총 33만명의 관람객을 끌어모았다.
박람회는 진주국화작품전시회와 토종농산물 종자전시회 등 다양한 연계행사가 함께 진행돼 박람회의 콘텐츠가 한층 풍성해졌다는 평가를 받았다.
농기자재관과 홍보관은 농업 신기술과 정책 정보를 제공하며 농업인과 일반 관람객에게 유익한 체험·교육의 장으로 주목받았다.
7일 열린 수출상담회에서는 16개국 40개 해외 바이어와 국내 기업 54곳이 참여해 상담을 진행했고, 총 1480만 달러 규모의 수출협약을 성사시켰다.
야외무대는 진주검무·삼천포농악·오광대 등 전통공연과 트로트 무대가 이어져 관람객들의 호응을 이끌며 축제 분위기를 높였다.
농업체험관에서는 딸기청·컵케이크 만들기, 테라리움 제작 등 가족 단위 참여 프로그램이 인기를 얻으며 조기 마감될 정도의 높은 관심을 보였다.
종자생명관에서는 130종의 토종농산물이 전시되고 1만 점의 종자가 관람객에게 무료 분양돼 농업 가치 확산에 기여했다.
