【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구북구보건소가 '2025년 심뇌혈관질환 조기증상 홍보 및 교육 우수사례 공모전'에서 대구·경북 1위를 차지하며 대상의 영예를 안았다. 이로써 북구보건소는 2년 연속 해당 대회를 휩쓰는 성과를 기록했다.
이번 공모전은 권역심뇌혈관질환센터 주관으로 진행됐으며, 조기증상 홍보와 예방교육에 모범이 되는 우수기관을 선정했다.
북구보건소는 '심뇌혈관질환 걱정 없는 건강 세이프존, 북구'라는 비전을 내세워 지역 특성에 맞춘 홍보사업을 추진해 왔다.
특히 20대 청년층과 70대 이상의 고령층, 취약지역 3개 동을 대상으로 혈압·혈당 정상 수치, 심근경색과 뇌졸중의 초기 증상, 응급 대응 요령을 안내하는 '심뇌혈관질환 예방 홍보존'을 대학교 및 노인복지시설 등에 설치하고, 정기적으로 캠페인을 펼쳤다.
또 대학생 홍보단인 '심뇌 프렌즈'를 운영해 온·오프라인 콘텐츠 제작과 건강미션 챌린지 등 참여형 이색 캠페인을 선보이며 젊은층의 건강 실천 문화를 확산시켰다.
이 밖에도 북구보건소는 관내 사업장과 유관기관과의 협업을 통해 전 지역에 걸쳐 다양한 홍보·캠페인을 전개해온 점이 높은 평가를 받았다.
배광식 북구청장은 “앞으로도 심뇌혈관질환 예방과 주민 건강관리 역량 강화를 위해 실생활 가까이에서 다양한 교육과 홍보를 이어가겠다”며 “주민들이 직접 체감할 수 있는 건강한 환경 조성에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
