[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시가 중소기업 수출지원과 해외시장 개척을 위해 일본에 이어 인도네시아를 방문해 교류협력과 수출성과를 거둬 글로벌 진출의 발판을 넓히고 있다.
조규일 진주시장이 이끄는 진주시 글로벌시장 개척단은 지난 10~11일 일본 후쿠오카에서 수출기업 해외전략 설명회를 마친 뒤, 12~13일 인도네시아를 방문해 문화콘텐츠 교류와 디지털 교육협력 등을 추진했다.
개척단은 주인도네시아 한국문화원을 방문해 진주의 전통문화와 예술·공예 콘텐츠를 인도네시아 한류기반 문화산업과 연계하는 방안을 논의, 지속적인 문화교류 확대에 뜻을 모았다.
이어 개척단은 인도네시아 교육부의 디지털 교육정책에 따라 진주 기업 ㈜아라소프트의 디지털 저작도구 나모오서를 300만 교사 대상 도입하는 계약을 체결했다.
아라소프트는 인도네시아 대학연합체와 epub3.0 기술을 활용한 전자도서관 구축사업 등 총 200만 달러 규모의 수출계약을 성사시켜 해외진출 가능성을 입증했다.
또 개척단은 주인도네시아 한국대사관을 방문해 수출기업의 시장진출 지원, 문화콘텐츠 산업의 해외활용, K-기업가정신 확산 방안 등에 대해 의견을 교환했다.
그들은 인도네시아 현지 향우 기업인들과 간담회를 열고, 사업환경 애로사항을 청취하는 한편 진주시 차원의 협력방안과 투자·교류 확대 방안을 논의했다.
특히 개척단은 수도 자카르타 땅그랑시를 방문해 사크루딘 시장과 양 도시 간 교류협력을 위한 MOU를 체결하며 지방정부 간 국제협력의 기반을 마련했다.
조규일 진주시장은 “이번 방문은 진주의 문화와 ICT 기술이 결합된 융복합 콘텐츠가 해외로 진출하는 중요한 계기가 됐다”며 “국제협력과 수출지원을 지속적으로 확대하겠다”고 말했다.
한편 진주시 글로벌시장 개척단은 인도네시아 방문을 마친 뒤, ‘그린바이오·실크’ 산업의 신시장 개척을 위해 다음 행선지인 호주를 방문할 예정이다.
