도널드 트럼프 미국 대통령이 내년 1월 스위스 다보스에서 열리는 '2026 세계경제포럼(WEF)'에 참석한다.
13일 (현지시간) 미 '블룸버그 통신'에 따르면 트럼프 대통령은 내년 1월 19일~23일까지 '대화의 정신’ 주제로 열리는 다보스 세계경제포럼에 참석한다.
트럼프 대통령은 올해 취임 직후 열린 지난 1월 20일 다보스 포럼 경우 화상으로 참여한 바 있다. 또 자신의 집권 1기 당시인 지난 2018년에도 참석한 바 있다.
스위스 비정부기구인 세계경제포럼은 매년 정치 지도자·기업 경영자·각 분야 전문가들이 참여하는 연례 회의를 개최하는 가운데 약 1000개 대기업·기관이 회원으로 참여 중이다.
세계경제포럼 측은 "트럼프 대통령 포함 G20(주요 20개국) 정상·각국 지도자들을 초청했다"며 "확정된 참가자 명단은 행사 일주일 전 발표할 것"이라고 밝혔다.
