부안 사람들 아니었던가
황토 바람 휘몰아치던 동학년 어느 날,
무명치마 찢어 머리띠 질끈 묶고
백산에 올라 목이 터져라 외치며
앞을 향해 뛰쳐나가던
동학 농민의 후예 아니었던가
돌아보니
피를 나눈 형제자매들 아니었던가
우리 서로 부둥켜안고
덩실덩실 춤을 춰보자

Poet Kang Min-sook
Poet Kang Min-sook was born in Buan, North Jeolla Province. She holds a master's degree in creative writing from Dongguk University. He holds a Ph.D. in Creative Writing from Myongji University. He is the author of the poetry collections "Burying You in the Sunset," "You Float to an Island in the Sea," "Flowers Don't Blame the Wind," "There Is No Nest," "Reading Chaeseokgang," and "The Song of the Boy Worker Jaemyeong," as well as ten other books. He is the CEO of "Big Thought Tree," a publishing company. He is also the Vice Chairperson of the Buan County Donghak Peasant Revolution Steering Committee. He is a former director of the Korean Writers Association. He is a former spokesperson for the Korean National Arts Federation. He is also the director of the ICLAA Creative Writing Center.
