브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= DL이앤씨가 지난 17일 부산 진해신항 공사 현장에서 하청업체 소속 노동자 1명이 작업 도중 바다에 추락해 사망한 사고와 관련, 공식 사과했다.
DL이앤씨 박상신 대표이사 입장문을 통해 “부산 진해신항 현장에서 선원 한 분께서 돌아가시는 안타까운 사고가 발생했다”며 “안전을 최우선으로 해야하는 시공사로서 무한한 책임을 느끼며 진심을 다해 고인에 대한 명복을, 감당하기 어려운 슬픔 속에 계실 유가족 여러분들께 깊은 위로의 말씀을 올린다”고 밝혔다.
이어 “DL이앤씨는 무거운 마음으로 해당 현장의 모든 작업을 중단했다”며 “유사 공종 작업이 진행 중인 현장의 작업도 중단했다. 전 현장을 대상으로 긴급 안전 점검을 시행하고 있다”고 덧붙였다.
또한, “사고 수습과 유가족 지원에 필요한 모든 조치를 즉시 시행하겠다”며 “관계기관의 조사에 성실히 협조해 사고 원인을 명확히 규명할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 강조했다.
