김관영 전북특별자치도지사가 18일 서울 코엑스 3층 오디토리움에서 '양성평등의 시대, 여성이 함께'라는 주제로 성황리에 열린 '제60회 전국여성대회'에서 '우수지방자치단체장상'을 수상했다.
'우수지방자치단체장상'은 여성이 안전하고 행복한 여성친화도시 조성에 앞장선 지방자치단체장에게 수여하는 상으로 김관영 전북특별자치도지사ㆍ김진태 강원특별자치도지사ㆍ김병수 김포시장ㆍ백성현 논산시장이 수상했다.
올해는 광복 80주년을 맞아 하와이 이민 1세대로 현지에서 힘겹게 일해 모은 노동의 대가를 독립운동을 위해 꾸준히 기부한 故 박순이 지사에게 '6080특별상'이 수여됐다.
박순이 지사의 손녀는 이번 전국여성대회에서 할머니를 대신해 상을 수상하기 위해 한국여성단체협의회 초청으로 방문했다.
