【브레이크뉴스 경북】진예솔 기자=경북문화재단이 운영하는 ‘문화가 있는 날 구석구석 문화배달’ 사업이 문화체육관광부가 선정한 2025년 지역문화정책 우수사례에 이름을 올렸다. 해당 사업은 문화환경이 취약한 지역과 혁신도시 주민을 대상으로 진행된다.

‘구석구석 문화배달’은 경북의 다양한 문화자원을 활용해 도민 모두가 생활 가까이에서 문화를 접할 수 있도록 기획됐다. 특히 공연, 체험 프로그램을 문화 접근성이 낮은 곳에 집중적으로 제공하며, 지역별 문화 격차 해소에도 꾸준히 힘써왔다.

재단은 2년 연속 국비 공모사업에 선정되며 내년까지 안정적인 예산을 확보했다. 올해에는 10억 원, 2025년에는 14억 3천만 원의 지원금이 책정됐다. 올해만 예천, 문경, 상주, 성주 등 9개 지역에서 54회의 프로그램을 진행했으며, 내년에는 울릉, 울진, 영양, 봉화 등 12개 지역으로 확대해 총 96회의 문화 프로그램을 선보일 예정이다. 지난해보다 3개 지역이 늘어나며 사업 규모 역시 크게 확대된다.

올해 3월 발생한 경북 산불로 일부 일정이 미뤄졌으나, 경북문화재단은 문화예술을 통한 지역민 위로와 치유를 목표로 프로그램을 차질 없이 이어갔다.

프로그램은 지역 자원을 적극적으로 활용한 공연과 체험 중심으로 구성됐다. 울릉군의 ‘섬마을 문화연락선’, 영덕군의 ‘문화로 블루로드’, 청송군의 ‘산소카페 문화나들이’ 등 12개 맞춤형 프로그램이 각 지역 특색에 맞게 펼쳐졌다.

최종수 경북문화재단 예술진흥원장은 “도민 여러분의 적극적인 관심과 참여가 2년 연속 우수사례 선정이라는 성과로 이어졌다”며 “앞으로도 문화환경이 취약한 지역을 우선적으로 지원해 도민 누구나 일상 속에서 문화를 누릴 수 있도록 프로그램을 더욱 확대해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

The Gyeongbuk Cultural Foundation's "Culture Day, Every Corner Cultural Delivery" project has been selected as a 2025 regional cultural policy best practice by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. This project targets residents of areas with underserved cultural environments and innovation cities.

"Culture Delivery to Every Corner" is designed to leverage Gyeongbuk's diverse cultural resources to provide cultural experiences close to home for all residents. It focuses on providing performances and experiential programs to areas with limited access to culture, and has consistently worked to bridge regional cultural gaps.

The foundation has secured a stable budget through next year, having been selected for a national grant program for two consecutive years. This year, KRW 1 billion has been allocated for support, and KRW 1.43 billion for 2025. This year alone, 54 programs were held in nine regions, including Yecheon, Mungyeong, Sangju, and Seongju. Next year, the program plans to expand to 12 regions, including Ulleung, Uljin, Yeongyang, and Bonghwa, for a total of 96 cultural programs. The program has expanded significantly, expanding the scope of the program by three regions compared to last year.

While some events were postponed due to the Gyeongbuk wildfires in March of this year, the Gyeongbuk Cultural Foundation continued its program without a hitch, aiming to provide comfort and healing to local residents through culture and the arts.

The program focused on performances and experiences that actively utilized local resources. Twelve customized programs were implemented, each tailored to the unique characteristics of each region, including Ulleung County's "Island Village Cultural Ferry," Yeongdeok County's "Culture Blue Road," and Cheongsong County's "Oxygen Café Cultural Outing."

Choi Jong-soo, Director of the Arts Promotion Agency at the Gyeongbuk Cultural Foundation, stated, "The active interest and participation of our residents has led to our selection as a best practice for two consecutive years. We will continue to prioritize support for areas with underserved cultural environments and further expand our programs so that everyone can enjoy culture in their daily lives."
